TXWhitacre and I decided to get away from the heat and do some fishing under the stars and cool breeze. The night bite was slow but things picked up just before sunrise.

I'm just getting into the kayak game. It's going to be really odd thinking about a best five in inches and not ponds.

It took me a while to get used to it, I still weigh big fish if they look heavy. I'm still looking for that DD.

Fishing from 10PM till just after dawn was a good time. Cool, quiet. A good time to think and relax from work and stress. Was good to get out. Thanks Deric for meeting me out there for the late nite fun.
