Just another day with Catfish Malone. . Just 4-5 dinks in livewell so far. I wish I would have had a camera in my boat so I could have posted a pic of the 30+lb carp my partner caught just had to settle for cell phone pic.

We had a very trying day, but adapted and still had a good time and caught 31-33 pounds best 5. Cody has been putting 50-75 White Bass in his live well for weeks and his aerator was clogged. We weighed 2 of our 15"+ early and then went back to Oak Ridge to switch into my boat. We only had about 8 pounds in unders today, but Cody had us on some great fish. Several fish in the 4-7 pound range. If anyone wants some GPS trails how to get in back of creeks 50 mph I will sell for $1,000.   Some great talent together for a great cause today!  Congrats to Eric Wright and my Wednesday nighter partner Jason Conklin (and his brother Ryan) for the win!!!  "so KJ, you hold the spinning rod just like this and give it a little jiggle"

I will echo Rob's sentiments. We had a great time participating this weekend for such a great cause, and it was very heartwarming and a blessing to see so many turn out, fish, volunteer, donate money, etc. The fishing came second really...........and nice to see TFF brethren again. Three of my faves from the weekend below: Tiffany's Peanut Butter Pie (Oh My!) - $3.99  Catching a really nice slot fish at Lake Fork with Guide Cody Malone - $$ Half the cost of a guide trip  Watching your partner reel, reel, reel........thinking he's got a Lake Fork 9# bass on the line, only to find out it's a CATFISH......PRICELESS!!!!!   Such a fun weekend. Thanks to my partner Rob for bidding on and winning the auction for Cody, and also for Eric Wright who fished with Rob's Wednesday night partner Jason and his brother who wound up winning it. I'm tired but a happy guy. Jim
