We don't usually keep bass but we had a hankering for some so we decided to keep some from or first trip then we could eat them as time went on.

Well we had a great time and limited out in just a few hours! food

We stayed out at Ragans in Pittsburg and just and FYI for anyone else planning on going there...

Don't clean your fish at Regans and don't put their remains in the dumpster or you will get a phone call and a post-it note... cheers

Yup Dan don't play! Also don't leave the doors open with the AC running! Completely understand, his place his rules!!

Great place to stay, always have and always will! He could stabilize in the price per night for awhile though!!

Yeah he was cool about it and we had stayed there before just never kept any fish so the issue never arose until this trip.

Yeah it doesn't hurt to partake of some every once in a while. It wasn't like we ate any really large ones they were all about 16" but some people treat it like I posted pictures of the holocaust or something... rolleyes

I will not release a bass that is legal length, unless of course I already have a limit...besides on Cypress they are over run with the Kentucky's...Ate a Whopper Black a few days ago...on the half shell...very TASTY! I never weigh them or anything, just put the knife to them...Unless, it is large enough to make Athens, then I might weigh one...Had a few more to go with it, now I only have crappie left...to eat...oh well, life could be much worse!

They do not have a website but here is the info you requested.
Ragans Info

Also if ya go visit Vaughan's Catfish on the lake Restaurant

For some reason we always stay in #8 these are from the last trip but not much has changed.

This is the view from Vaughan's
