This is another reason not to text and drive. I didn't see the car but it had to be really damaged because the mailbox was everywhere - the main part of it rolled down a hill into a drainage ditch. The good news everybody is ok and we get to rebuild the mailbox on the guilty party's dime. It was a young kid who lives in the neighborhood. I've now seen this a handful of times - scary



This was after we pounded out the box and set up a flat base so they could at least get some mail for a few days until it gets rebuilt

My boss had that happen but the person that hit it, ran afterwards but what they didn't realize is, they left their license plate. Busted LOL.

They put those things to close to the road anyway! You can wave at a neighbor and look back at the road and there it is!! Can not tell you how many times I nearly hit one. Should be put back off the road.
