It is refreshing these days to find a company that has empowered its employees to solve customers problems on the spot. No, I've got to check with my manager... No, return the defective item, then we'll ship a replacement... They just fix the problem immediately. That's the way to build a company and loyal following. Plus, they get free marketing all over the place as people share their stories. Now, if they would just open a store in the Dallas area, it would be perfect. Around Lake Lewisville would be best for me, but not for my wallet.

Ive placed a few orders through them and always had excellent service with quick delivery. Usually my first place is look now for kayak gear.

Dallas did not have an Outback in stock in the color I wanted. I ordered it by phone from AKC. They mounted the anchor trolly for free and the yak arrived quickly/safely by truck. I was very pleased with the price, shipping, and service.
I was told by several people that Dallas Mariner and AKC were both good businesses. I have found that to be true.
Still learning to kayak fish with my Hobie Outback.
