Us south Dallas folk never get anything. We don't even have an academy within 15 miles

Open a franchise in Cedar Hill wink

LOL...That's how I feel up here on the north end of Dallas. I keep trying to tell everyone a Denton Kayak/Tackle shop would make a killing...... cheer

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

You don't want to waste your time at Academy anyhow. Go see Rick and Patty at APT. You will not be disappointed in the new store and all it has to offer! Its like a candy store for fisherman and kayakers. Great selection of tackle and kayaks from Native Watercraft, KC Kayaks, NuCanoe and Diablo Paddle Sports. Oh, and don't forget the free popcorn!

LMAO! My first reaction was, "well, after a few So Dallas liquor stores and Pawn Shops go out of business, then maybe they'll have space to set up a tackle shop". Then I thought that maybe you're not talking about "that" South Dallas.

APT is great, well worth the drive no matter where you are from. I'm thankful it's near our neighborhood ice cream shop, so my son gets a cone and I get to check out some yak fishing gear.

Awesome shop Rick. I found it, and as always Rick and his family were uber helpful. I got what I needed and of coarse I bought stuff I wanted.
