Back seater casting a spoon or a slab is why I keep my TuffSkinz on!

I see this everywhere!

Cowling for my Yammie is about $1200.
They water spot like crazy.
It will keep critters out.
Something a little softer to bang lures against.
I like the way it looks.

My cover has paid for itself with as much as I fish Fork. No scratched and blems on the cowling.

Just to be clear...2 stroke outboards are fuel/air and water cooled.

Small outboards and mud boats maybe.

I for one take care of my investment. Tuff skinz is a great vented motor cover

If you live on the lake you better have something to keep the dirt daubers out. My Nephew just forked out $6300 on his motor due to the pests building nests in his engine. Vented covers with screen due help in many ways. Wouldn't leave home without one.

Mine has the breathers on it. The only time I have any issues is during the heat of summer with added humidity. Then I take it off.

I have yet to see someone running down the lake with the tarp on their boat. I understand protecting the cowling but saying they look good, come on.

Engine covers are like wraps and car bras. Why have nice paint/gel if you always keep in covered. I bought one from a very cool guy on TFF last year (not tuff skinz) and used it once. The vinyl strap scuffed up the lower cowl on the first trip (4 hr drive). I took it off, threw it on the ground at my boat storage and haven't used it since.

Stay away from covers with vinyl straps and buckles. They will scratch and tend to come loose. Outboard Covers of America have no straps or buckles and fit like a second skin. They are not the cheapest in town but are the best out there.

I plan to purchase one immediately as soon as I get my next rig bought. My last rig I kept totally immaculate just like I always do but my motor; even with keeping it under several coats of wax, looked like it had been sorting wild cats. I buffed out a lot of the scratches but there were some that were just to deep in the paint. I assume you can run down the lake with these covers in place??????

I have a cover that I use only when trailering. Don't want rock chips or anything else to tear it up
