Is it legal to fish under or around the Malloy bridge road inbetween seagoville and ferris? Any info on the location?

dont know about up there but down here in palestine area around cayuga bridge we have a fish consumption notice urgeing people not to eat the fish from the river due to the water being so low for so long that the water has become stagnate and fish may have disease. didnt believe it till we caught a blue and it was nasty looking had lost its color bad and looked very sick.
