Here goes... This morning I stepped outside to grab something from my truck and I noticed that the white ground wire from my trailer harness was snipped midway between the ground screw into the trailer tongue and the flat four connector. My first inclination was to think maybe it happened while in use. I immediately trashed that conclusion remembering full well that it was intact when I relocated the trailer the day before. So now I'm pissed... I'm thinking a punk kid or pissed neighbor(though I'm on great terms with my neighbors) has snipped this wire. Even that conclusion is hard to believe though. But whatever... I go back inside and tell the wife about it over morning coffee.

Then... After breakfast and a shower, we go out to the trailer together so that I can show her what happened. And wouldn't you know it, the wire has been snipped again. Which now leaves a piece out of the center of the ground wire laying on the driveway. ;alsdkfj;lasdkjf;ldkjas Or something to that effect was rolling through my mind. There's no way someone would return and cut it again right? I'm totally tripping now, full paranoidal delusions, ready to dig a fox-hole. I can't figure it.

Then... My wife says the most impossible thing ever... "What if it was a rabbit or something?" She's completely nuts I know, but you got to lover her, right? I laugh it off though I feel like my skin is crawling with the tension of what will happen next.

Well... I didn't have to wait long... Every Tuesday evening I travel down to Dallas for dinner with my grandmother and my mom's brother. As I'm leaving the house my eyes are scanning the trailer harness from the moment I leave the porch. And wouldn't you f'ing believe it... A rabbit sprints out from under the front of my truck,(which is parked right over the front of the trailer tongue) and off into a neighbors landscaping...

I no longer have the words to describe what is going on inside my head... Speechless...

If you're like me you were probably already giving the evil eye to all the neighborhood suspects. grin

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.
