Switching over my Vicious setups to sunline after using it on a couple of my rods. GREAT stuff.

I have had good luck with either PLine copoly or Flouro but you will still get some line twist over time vs the braid.

I use 10 Lb Invisx or Bps Caugh a 13.1 Last year on this. Been Expirementing with 10 lb Power pro braid and 10 lb Invsx tied together with the Crazy Alberto Knot Go to YOU tube for Knot.Knot is awesome But I need more practice to tie on a new leader fast in tournaments. Knot dosen't break leader gets shorter every time fish wraps you up in stumps. Less than 10 lb BRAVE if you fish heavy structure where big mama lives.

Try P-line CX Premium with a few squirts of KVD line conditioner. I spooled one reel with 8lb InvisX and the other with P-line CX Premium and honestly I like the way the P-line handles better. Caught 8 fish with it and one was right at 6 lbs and it handled great. I appreciate the advice!

CX Premium is a great all round line.

One thing that I've found to help on the fluro to braid knot is match the diameter as close as possible, maybe evening alittle bigger on the fluro.

I use the uni-knot when tying my braid to fluro. I haven't ever had it break and its a real simple knot. Same knot I use. I have 20 or 30lb braid to a Seagar 8lb leader on my dropshot rig and it works great. If I do break it off it's quick to retie with the uni since I fish all of my jigs using braid with a leader as well. It's a knot I can tie in my sleep.

I like hi-vis power-pro (20lb) with an 8lb fluoro leader of about 6-8ft. That way I get the lack of wind-knots and loops with the advantage of low visability fluoro

Fishing braid in a lot of wind in open water sucks. That is the only reason I am trying to get comfortable with an alternative line.
Crazy Alberto Knot is the real deal!

Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

Give Berkley Fireline a try. You won't be disappointed.
