Recently I took a day fishing trip up to the red river and didn't have much luck, only a couple of decent sized buffalo. I know you're supposed to fish the deeper pockets but almost every spot I tried had little or no deep spots around or the deep spot produced nothing. Consequently, now I'm looking for new spot to try and need a general direction of where to look. Is east or west of lake texoma better? Any where near highway crossings with easy access that can produce? Any info would be appreciated

Both. There are fish in the pockets with no generation.
