Looks great! Could you list some tips on installation and maybe a product list that you used? I'm looking at doing it myself as well, just not sure where to start.

I did green on mine. nice looking job you did. does the blue make your line glow?
not that I have noticed.

I have a red/white basscat and was going to do the same thing. Can you provide info on installation and where you bought it?

not that I have noticed. You need the purple UV light to make the line glow. Also you need to be using a high vis line like what P line puts out.

I did mine about a month ago with a couple of roles of LEDs off of ebay. Total of $25. They where $11 a role and a few dollars of wire.

Is that on the bottom of your rub rail? Yes. I put it there facing down so I could get max light to the water.

do the lights inside the boat blind you? i have them under the gunnel rail on the outside of my boat.before i installed my lights on the outside i put them on the inside of the boat in my shop with the shop lights off. i stood at the helm and could not see anything in my shop or off the side of the boat the LED lights were blinding!it looks cool but would be dangerous out on the water! JMO

I just use them when I am looking for something or tying a lure on. I have a switch on the front panel that turns on the front lights and a switch in the back for my passenger. But I have used them around Sneaky Pete's on Lewisville at night so the drunk boaters see me even though its already well lit and is no wake...

That pic at first glance makes it look like they are on the eve of a house but I can see they are on a toon. Green lights around the rub rail will be my next lighting upgrade. Just did mine this weekend. I don't have a good night shot yet.
