Todd I can't believe you remember that story. That was before cell phones and I was in my first bassboat.

I like this night fishing talk, I may be getting interested.

Gene

I do need to call you and get something together. Plan on getting back to fishing again.

Todd,

Sold the boat, just dont have time with being on the road every week. I figure wont be much upkeep on a kayak, plus I can fish some other lakes I would never tow the boat to.
Might be out early on RH or maybe Tawak this sat.

we used to do very well under the I30 bridges at night few summers ago..we got there and tied up our yaks to the columns and set up the lights..waited and caught our limits of sandies and hybrids, few cats and crappies sometimes too.We always used extra large minnows 4" to 5" long.. we would fish outside the light areas in the shadows..hit bottom and up 5 turns. All my boys are in the service and not in areas to go fishing for a long while..

Our youngest son is coming to town this weekend and night fishing is on the agenda for sure!

I made a few of the green lights for night fishing, I can half @$$ throw a net, and I know where to get some bait fish...

Could get real fun soon! VIP, if you want a spot on the toon, just let me know...

Here's a pic of the main green light after I made it... Has worked great so far!

Crappie have been my main target to date at night, but hybrids at night are really looking good!

I night fish regularly during summer. Have been for a quiet awhile. Tie up catch plenty of Sandies, a few Hybrids and Crappie. I used to night fish R C. R H is much closer. I have a net, I can throw a net, When the time is right I use my Shad dip net.

I love to night fish. I usually go to Richland chambers or Twok. I have been thinking about trying Hubbard. I use 1/16 oz jigs tied 5 in a line. Would be more than happy to share how I set them up and the best way I have found to work them if anybody wants to know.
I think I might try Sat July 6th w my son. Does the Marina on the east end of I-30 (Bayview?) stay open late so you could get off the lake at midnight or so? Would be fun to fish around some of you guys.
