 OT- Leaving the metromess

Well, I went and did it. Friday afternoon my wife and I closed on a house just outside the city limits of the thriving metropolis of Mineola Texas. Realtor is coming to our house tonight to put it on the market.
On the good side, I will be within 45 minutes of some prime time East Texas lakes, Fork, Quitman, and Holbrook. Once I get settled in, I will be doing some fishing after things cool down a bit.
I will be close enough to Holbrook to bait a swim if anyone wants to head that way. Just give me a shout by PM.

Glad to hear, i know you have been waiting some time for all this to go through. Happy to see it finally happen for you! Enjoy those plump East Texas fish, maybe sometime this fall us WCC carpers can make an event that way and put one on for the east Texas guys!

Good news from the realtor tonight. He expects to have a contract on our house within 2 to 3 weeks based on the improving market..

Thanks guys. I have lived here my whole life. Will be quite an adjustment leaving a city of 360,000 for a town of 4900.

You will also be near the Sabine River, lots of teens to mid 20's there.
