Point on north side-- at light house..is good
...rocks shore all way to Eisenhower
..early morning..top water and swim baits..ss shad in chart yellow.
bait fish...use live shad..cast out off points along dam..
Below the dam is good if water is discharged

Went out last night and fished the north (windblown) bank. The bite was furious from about 1:00 am til sunrise. Steady action all night long on hooker shad and cut striper (legal in Oklahoma). All the cats were in the sandy flats in about 5-10 foot of water. A few channels, but mostly blues and a few longnose gar.

One interesting side note.... The shoreline was covered with dead fish. Hundreds of them. Mostly buffalo, but a few cats and baitfish. I saw a blue cat that must've weighed 20 lbs, and a huge carp that probably outweighed the cat.

Anyways, the catfish bite was on last night. Had a great time.

Tried this weekend at Eisenhower off of Armadillo Hill Dr. and had ZERO luck! The drops there are wicked and look like it could be a gold mine but we got blanked out and lost a number of lures and minnow setups due to the sharp edge...

I experienced the same exact thing off 377 bridge though...well besides the bite being furious lol. hooked only catfish and alot of gar. Noticed alot of dead fish (drum/gizzard shad/catfish) at least a 50lb cat too! Read somewhere it might be due to oxygen in the water due to heat lately...apparently research has been ongoing about the dead fish

I fish a small pontoon off those Eisenhower points. I pass by a allot of guys fishing on the bank and see the fish on my humminbird just out a little bit farther than they can cast. The drop offs are so bad that if you did get out there you'll almost certainly hang up.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

Thats exactly what was happening to me. I know the fish are in the drops but I kept getting hung up there...

a small boat is an excellent investment

One of these and a trolling motor. The get a portable Humminbird fish finder.

Thanks but I have kids and I see 2 issues with that pontoon:
1. I have kids so I can't afford it
2. We don't all fit on it
