I went out to benbrook lake and was fishing the creek at mustang park. i got 5 channels on liver, but they were all under 12 inches. how do i catch some good eating size and keep the babies off my line??

Try increasing the size of you're bait. Bigger bait catches bigger fish as a rule. Also cut perch is excellent bait.

Try fishing at night. Use a big bait; perch or shad if possible.
