Thanks to Shaun Russell for the heads up this morning on this.

This is a screen shot of a Youtube Video from Native:

Looks like a Propel Slayer judging by the hull lines and front hatch, but the side handles are wrong and the back end looks like it has a Mariner rudder. What do y'all think?

Oh man!!!
I am currently doing a review on a 2013 Slayer 14.5. I'm EXTREAMLY impressed with the current model. If they are offering a peddle drive in a smaller platform "kayak" I'll be watching Native close. Very close!

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

dontcha just love marketing!! "accidentally" leave a new model in the background and watch the buzz it creates.

I saw this on Twitter this morning. No one knows what it is yet. I'm interested to hear when they announce it.

A propel slayer makes sense IMO. If they are cutting new molds, now is the time to add a hatch and fix the recessed track issues.

As a side note - that dude looks very comfortable standing in it and while I am all for PFD's, I think wearing one indoors is a bit overkill.

Um, the guy isn't standing on the mystery kayak. He's in the poster, standing on a different kayak, on the water. It's a good optical allusion though.

Damn it, they really need to invent a sarcasm font.

Haha. Yeah, agreed. smile

Actually, I was wondering if that poster may be used to attempt mock-ups of positioning anglers in boats, etc. Dimensionally, it doesn't look too far off and the perspective is pretty good.

Then again, maybe it's nothing more than a poster.

Yeah, that would be my second guess. I never understood the "landing platform" instead of a more traditional tankwell. I was going to watch the video once more, but they set it to private. confused Anyways, when you look at the name of the kayak in the video it sure looks exactly like the Slayer logo.

that's interesting that it's set to private now. makes ya wonder if they kayak in the background was an accident. i highly doubt it, especially w/ the graphic being so perfectly positioned to look like an angler in the yak.
