What kind of wire works best for hand tying skirts and where can I get it?

I tried several wires from copper to other metals but they take a long time and lots of effort. It is easier for me to get some of the smallest zip ties I can find and use them instead. The jig will wear out before these things come loose.

I have been using wire out of an old table saw motor for the last 15 years and still have much left. You can get copper wire at hobby shops. 24-26 gauge is normal but get what you think would work best for you.

Hobby lobby, 24 gauge, comes on a spool abou $3-$3.50 Works great.

I ust about a six inch piece and start from the back of the jig, bend equal sides and cross over each other and both tag ends back to the back of the jig and twist 4-8 times, clip and bend down. Good to go.

I used it on anything that has a skirt.

I have gotten some of the beads and other things I have made lures with from a company called Fire Mountain. My sisters use them for supplies to make Jewelry.

They have lots of wire in many different sizes etc.

You can get very thin small zip ties in a multitude of colors . I use those . Fast simple and inexpensive . My kind of recipe .

You and I can make a positive difference in someones life if only for a moment .
