Where is the best place for cat fishing from the shorelines of Lake Ray Hubbard? I have a boat, but lately have found its much more relaxing to just pull up a chair on the shoreline. Also, what's the best results? Shad, chicken liver, or worms?

Fishing any rocks along 30 is my advice, and if you want a place to be comfotable and not sitting on the rocks. Off dalrock there is a lot of open sitting places and they still have some rocks close to the shore. ALWAYS use FRESH cut shad, only thing ive ever had luck with.

Shad. Shallow water is where I'd try

Thx guys, going to give the Dalrock area a try with shad and liver. Prob won't venture on the rocks since the wife will be joining but we'll see.

I just started catfishing this year. Slinging stink bait while sittin' on a bucket is about as 'relaxing' as it gets...:) Once I get a couple more packages of fillets in the freezer, I'll probably try my hand at live bait / bigger fish. Any suggestions for a bank fisherman?
