They're just seasoning themselves from the inside.

The deer eat everything I plant except for boxwoods.

You can make a Ted Nugent scarecrow.

That'll keep them at bay.

Didn"t know they liked tomatoes. Mine are at risk with woods all around me.

at 9:26 19 is when I turned on the alarm.

problem has been solved by attaching blinking Christmas lights to the post at the far end, and attaching 2 wood stakes with a pie pan attached to fishing line (so the wind will make em move with noise)
This is a deer friendly place, we like to see them, just don't want them in the garden. We have several deer that use our land as shelter at night.

The deer don't actually like tomatoes..just the green plant.

They were coming into my garden as well, so I tried some of that deer repellent about 3 weeks ago. Smells like $##, sprayed a complete barrier around the garden very thoroughly and so far it's working. I even had a good rain last Tuesday and it's still working.

It's weird, they don't like squash.
So, at least we have those to eat for now.

Liquid fence or Coyote urine sprays might work.
Milorganite is a fertilizer that supposedly deters rabbits and deer.
