Hey Guys, I went fishing this past weekend in Texoma off 377 Bridge. We have a nice spot we've been doing great the past few weeks bank fishing. For some reason this past weekend was HORRIBLE! Water level went up about 20 ft from what it was last time. Water temp was very very warm and very light wind. We noticed hundreds and hundreds of dead fish on the shore line. Mainly small drum, big gizzard shad, some sandies and some catfish. saw at 60lb catfish dead too! We caught only catfish that night and hooked on GAR all night (at least 10 gars) Does anybody know this area or have an idea of whats causing the fish to die off? It is very strange and I was trying to do some reasearch but couldnt find anything. Any insight would be great Thanks!!!

I've read that reference before but im not sure exactly what that means? Is this common? is it due to high water temps changes?

Sometimes I wonder if that kid in the Dreamworks logo has caught a fish yet.

Lakes only turn in the fall. Most likely it has something to do with the recent floods.

Fished the north shore by 377 last night. Hundreds of dead fish, including big cats. However, fishing was awesome. Caught all I wanted. Wind was blowing hard to the bank which probably had a lot to do with the furious bite.

You guys who fish around the 377 bridge, do you fish on the Texas or Oklahoma side. I see that Juniper Point is there, do you fish there or off the rocks around by the boat ramp on the West side. Just curious. It's a bit of a drive, but I've been looking for a bank location to take the kids fishing. Any help would be great, if not, I understand.

I was on the south shore this weekend and saw no dead fish. FYI.
Maybe TPWD cleaned it up??
