Santee Cooper Rig with buffalo carp worked best today. Two other big fish came off of a large bluegill - Head and tail cut off. I will add picture when I figure out how to do it.
6/0 circle hooks

Very nice fish. I would get some bigger hooks like the 8/0 gama circle hooks if you are going to use those bigger baits you will get a better hookup ratio

Circle hooks do work for some people and some baits. Not a good choice when you use 3-5lb carp heads as bait like we do. Very nice fish. I would get some bigger hooks like the 8/0 gama circle hooks if you are going to use those bigger baits you will get a better hookup ratio
