I've been trying to line up a keelshield from BPS for my newer boat I just bought ....but they say that the 8' white is on back order!! I emailed keelshield to see when they were going to ship more to BPS and this is what they said,

I appreciate your support. If your Bass Pro does not have an 8' white KeelShield I suggest that you have them order it or purchase it online soon (I believe you can use your gift cards online too). Your store will not be getting anymore KeelShield's in - Corporate at Bass Pro decided NOT to carry KeelShield anymore next year and carry only Keel Guard - (yes Keel Guard is the one that we demolished in head to head tests)

I hope more people like yourself continue to voice your opinion with BPS. I know the Grapevine store was one of the leading distributors of all the stores nationally. We conducted several install demo's and promotions there etc...

I used to work in the BPS Grapevine Marine department....Can't believe they dropped Keelshield. Fantastic product and we did sell a bunch of them. Keel Guard? Why?

Thanks, guys.....My dilema is going to be that I was going to pay for it with the BPS gift cards that my in laws got for me....Hey Jared, can u email me a price? I've emailed BPS customer service several times about it and all they would say is that BPS is carrying them NOW and wouldnt go any further.....thanks!!

been using a Keelshield for a long time and only had to use the warranty once in about 8 years now, no hassel at all, sent the pictures and the new shield was at my door in 4 days, BPS needs to continue to carry them,,best product out in my opinion..

I see that u guys got the exclusive rights for Triton boats, that's sweeeet too!! I'll guess I'll wait until after Christmas, get my gift cards, and order a keelshield from BPS, as much as I hate to.....
We need to make BPS know how we feel about them not carrying Keelshield any more...I know I am!!!

UPDATE......I worked out a deal with joebass2 on selling his offwhite 8' one for my BPS card and $30..!! What's even sweeeeeeter, is that I received my 8' white from Keelshield yesterday along with a couple of hats and decals and I HAVEN'T EVEN PAID A THING YET!!! You got to love the trust from this company!!! I emailed Sue of course and told her how much I appreciated it and that I would get her the trade in as soon as possible!! I'm sorry guys, that I've really raved about Keelshield but I'm not used to such great customer service!!! Thanks for letting me rant!!!

I am glad everything worked out. I have had mind on for two and a half years with me beaching it on the cement ramp at least once a week and not one sign of it wearing out. Just make sure you install it exactly how the instructions tell you and it will last forever. Make sure your HULL is at least 70 degrees (not outside temp). You will love the product!!!!

Thanks.....I have my boat in the garage and really want to get it installed before March....I'm thinking I can get a propane heater for the garage and get it nice and warm and see what that does......
