I think guides today are much more people oriented and try to create a pleasant experience. Maybe because of social media. I remember some guides on Fork in the 80's that were really into the "watch me fish syndrome".
I know a "watch me fish syndrome", says he looking for fish for you though, at the end of the day he'll have 10 to your 2, thinks he did you a favor, don't forget the tip.

Yes sir, I remember those days too but no names from me who it was. Oh, and you forgot the "Stay off of my holes" sign! I saw a fight almost break out after a Friend took us to the Hwy 515 North bridge for some Hammered Spoon action. The next day, the Guide who had taken HIM there a few days before yelled at my friend for being there. I do respect their "Money Holes" and always will...

Hey TopGunPilot.... you did not have to mention the bikini! LOL! I have never worn any type of bathing suit as a guide, but when I first started tournament fishing and I was young and dumb, I did wear a bikini. You did a great job as a guide and I can say that I am very proud of the way you treated clients. Have fun fishing with your boys and stop to smell the roses.
