Just moved back from Florida. I have two Tarpon 120s and am looking for places to launch the yaks near Frisco.

Im sorry! I moved here from Florida 6 years ago and I miss it. Not just for fishing but for diving, boating, and everything else water related. Florida is a water lovers paradise.

Welcome back ALLANGT! That first picture you posted with Skyway Bridge in background sent shivers through my spine. Fished a couple of tournaments on Tampa Bay years ago and remember the first time crossing that bridge early one morning with the winds howling and low ceiling. Had my kayak in J craddles and thought I would be blown off the bridge.

Great story about the old bridge below:

big sandbass, blue cats & hybrids on lewisville. ray roberts is also a good lakes close by u.
be careful on lewisville. lot of drunks, parting and jetskies after 11am.
best to get out very early or during the week if possible on that lake.
lots of anglers on ray roberts and lots of sticks. black bass, crappie & sandbass are good -great on that lake.

Texoma is worth the hour drive if you enjoy striper fishing. Also a healthy smallmouth population on our side of the lake.

I'm on the Plano/Frisco border and frequent Lewisville the most.

I'd kill to move back to Florida. Lived there when I was real young and visited often growing up. No family left there now but I still think about it. From the Clearwater area myself

Im moving to the florida keys or maybe very south florida in 10years or less. At least thats the plan. Going to open a charter boat business. Diving, spearfishing, rod and reel fishing, snorkeling, etc. I spent 14 years in florida and plan to spend many more there.

I'll be in Clearwater this Fri thru the 4th. Wife and I are staying at the Hilton. Booked a 6 hr charter on Sunday 6/30 with Snooky Bear Charters. Inshore flats guide. Targeting snook, cobia, trout, grouper, flounder. Can't wait!

He's good. Snook should be on the beaches right now and the flats.
I still need to book a trip with the Mad Snooker Captain Dave Pomerleau. He pulls in some huge snook.
