That is ridiculous. YOU CAN NOT CULL? Then why fish a tournament? What do you expect from a state that has fishing seasons.

Honest mistake....at least he fessed up when he was questioned. He told the truth... my hat goes off to him....On the other hand, Aaron Martens is now in first place..I think it was 2004 when Aaron won a FLW tournamnet and had no fishing license. He was even given a ticket on the water for no license..Aaron lied about the license for months and took home the money....

Same rule for all of the fishermen, he was the only one (We know of) that broke it. Seems that loosing the whole day catch was a little extreme punishment, B.A.S.S. needs to analyze the "Punishment to match the crime" deal. This kid is the real deal, you see a lot of new comers come out dazzle everyone and then wonder where did they go, do not see that with Brandon.

Mistake he will learn from. We all have made them. But on his part it was a dumb arse mistake. Shake it off and move on.

If BASS informed all anglers of the rule and provided maps of the border locations then I agree with the punishment. If not, then BASS failed and he should appeal the decision.

His punishment was fit for the crime. No big deal. Move along. No big deal? Seriously? 100 grand for a 25 year old.. Seems like a pretty big deal to me. But it was his mistake and the only option.

I was a marshall at Onieda Lake last year when Zell Rowland was disqualified for fishing an off limits marina. I wasn't with him, but it seemed like the same type of situation. They weren't allowed to fish man made marinas, and he fished one that he didn't realize was man made. This current situation seems more severe because Paulnick was in the lead, but it happens.

Ok, I'm confused. Are they saying the total amount of fish that anyone can catch in a day is five or does this just pertain to tournaments? Second question. Arent all marinas man made? I don't know of any marinas that just naturally popped up.
