Just now setting pics from this spring. 1/8 OZ white and chartruse jigs red body. white rooster tails.   cam phone not the best resolution.

yes jigs under bobbers in winds blowing to shore side. Water depth 8-12 foot. Most action was on the 2 feet down bobber closest to yak. Had one barely dangling in the water between yak and paddle as I was paddling, and a sandie grabbed it , surprised even me. Nothing on rattles or bombers. --->>This inflatable by sea eagle is some kinda tough vessel. Has 650 pound capacity takes them white caps oh so nice. Lots of times I am the only boat in neighborhood. Haven't had my real boat in the water since buying her.

Great report! My wide and I caught a few schooling Sandie's early on crank baits, then tried our hand at some channel cat about dark. We caught a few, or should I have said that , she caught a few between 9:00 and 10:30 PM on shrimp.
