Hey guys I'm in the process of buying a new trolling motor. I love Minn Kota motors with I pilot, but haven't seen a Minn Kota Riptide with universal sonar 2 on them. Does Minn Kota make one for saltwater? Now I fish saltwater 2-4 times a year & I currently have a riptide on my bay boat now. My next question is it still possible to use an external puck on a electric steering trolling motor/wireless. I can not loss my front depth finder. Thanks in advance

The US2 is not an option on the Riptide Series motors. Yes you can utilize an external transducer on electric steer motors. See link below. It is showing a Terrova but the process will be the same on the Riptide (minus the US2 step) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6jMpWt545Q

Thanks shut up and fish. Is there any interference from the external puck & the electric steer motors? Also do you also install and or repair trolling motors? Thanks again
