I heard that tarrant county have plans to enlarge their sewer treatment wet lands off hwy 175 and pump the (cleaned water) back to cedar creek through a 8 foot line which will keep cedar creek at a constant level an then they will draw the water back to the tarrant water board. Wonder how long thats going to take and what will that do for the fishing there ? (fish kills)

I heard a story of the man that designed a plant drank a glass of water right out of the filters. Clear as a bell in the glass with no odor. I could not do it just thinking what it looked like before the processing.

Some coworkers & I walked a sewer treatment plant that we were adding on to with its manager years ago. He showed us all of the stages from agitation to the bugs that eat the solids & the screening system that removes the bugs & all of the other stuff I.E. condoms, tampons & more that the bugs do not eat. At the end after the chlorination process he takes a ladel & scoops himself up a big old snort. 3 of the ten men on the tour lost thier cookies right there.

IMO the water coming out is probably fine 99% of the time. But when something fails there is no stopping the process unles things have changed.

That's the one I know about.

They are currently building levees southeast of the dam at Richland Chambers for a wetlands project like the one at Candall.
