Looking at these rods, has anyone tried one. And what are your thoughts for the money?? or should I just buy again TFO rod

i fooled around with one of the envy series a few days ago and it was one of the better feeling rods ive handled

Played around with one at APT. Felt pretty good......dang good for the $$$

I have 2 of the omens and really like them. For $130 there isn't a better rod IMO. If you buy one and aren't impressed I would be highly surprised.

Guys these are the best rods on the market! The company makes every part of the rod themselves! For the money you can't beat them! Be sure to go by anglers pro tackle and check them out!

APT has a few omens for sale pretty cheap. Might check there first, his second hand stuff is always in pretty good shape. Might save ya a few bills

I just used a 13 omen 6'7" this weekend in a tournament. I loved that rod. I had a Shimano Citica D with 17 lb Seagar Red Label paired with it. I was pitching and casting to docks with a jig. It is a very sensitive rod and had the backbone to pull the fish out of cover. I have several Gloomis Gl2 and Gl3s and consider the Omen to be a better rod.

Also, the MH fishes more like a heavy action when compared to a Gloomis rod.

I have a 7-3 H and a 7-3 MH (which I picked up at APT from the used rack) and both are excellent, versatile rods - from TX rig to frogs to chatterbaits - great rod at a great value...

I fish mainly st.croix rods. I do have shimano, bps rods, some gander mtn rods, and a couple Abu rods. As well as a new 13 fishing 6"7" med fast oman black rod. After fishing with the Omen now for a bout a month I like a lot. For weight ,balance, and sensitivity I'd put closer to an avid than a premier for quality. Probley the best rod I've ever bought for $100 bucks.

I have 3 of the Omens's in the 7 3, from medium to heavy, they are my go to rods now after using the for 4 months.
