Ok so I'm somewhat of a yakkin newb. Only been out around a dozen times so far. I've tried to talk literally everyone I know into getting a yak with no luck yet. So if anyone wants to tag along sometime let me know. I'll be going out Saturday morning and maybe even Sunday as well.

I'm out of state right now, but I'd love to catch up with you when I get back. I live in Marshall, so keep posting when you're going. I've fished a lot of the relatively local places to us in our part of Texas now and really love them all.

Sounds good to me! I'm headed to galveston in a week (yak in tow!) So I won't get a chance to go around here until the first weekend in July. Have you fished the private "indian" lake nearby?

Enjoy Galveston! Great place to fish! I haven't fished Cherokee, if that's where you're talking about. I hear its nice.
