I have a 2003 Merc 150 XR 6 that is overheating. The impeller/water pump and pop-it valve have been replaced and water flow thru the heads has been checked and verified but it still has a problem. Anyone have any suggestions on what the problem could B?

I assume so and that is the next thing on my list to check. After that, I have no clue!

Could be head gaskets. My '89 Pro V was getting hot some years ago and that's what fixed it.

Are you sure the impeller has the fins turned the correct way??? Seen this be an issue.
