I went through my boat last night and got every pack of worms out.Lizards, brush hogs, flukes, worms, trailers. I got my little girl to consolidate what she could, ex. 2 packs watermelon red flukes into one bag. I have been keeping them under my seats but it has got out of control. My boat came with one of the system that clips into your storage locker but they fall of. Im looking for some ideas on what I can do besides throw them under the seats and randomely dig for stuff.
Thanks for all the help,
Scott

Scott, digging is the same problem for most of us. You are on the right track. Organizeing it all into plastic bags by brand and color. I then use the Walmart tubs to line them all up in the storgage compartments. When they are in a vertical position you can thumb through them like a file to find them much faster.

What I don't like is the accululation of stuff laying out on the deck then finding that we need to move and having to throw it all in a compartment then dig it out at the next stop.

Once I get them all organized in the tubs sitting up in a upright position; I have one tug marked as todays baits for that lake. I take a little time each day to reload that tub and just use out of it for the day. You will pull from all the bags the items you want to try on that particular lake or day.

I solve the deck clutter problem by organizing a little farther.
I sell the Butt Seat Bags. It attaches to your front butt seat. I can put everything in and on this bag that I am going to use for the day. This is the most time saving piece of equipment that a fisherman could own. I have my pliers, scissors, sharpener, marker pen, a rod clip, cull floats and some other things all on the outside of the bag. On the inside I have 3 or 4 small four compartment boxes to put cranks, spinners, and terminal tackle in. It has a compartment for my phone, wallet, map, Ipod/head phone buds, snacks and water bottle. In the big compartment I put about 15 packages of the soft plastics and trailer that I want to try that day. This bag has a neat strap system that allows you to attach it to the butt seat, or to the back of a sit down chair.

I never have to get down and dig in the compartments which is a big plus when the wind is blowing the boat away. Pictures are available upon your request.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.

I still think easy view is the best idea if u can get them to stay on the hooks... Otherwise I shove the packs in 1100 boxes

I went to the container store and bought several small tubs, they are about 8 inches long and 4 inches deep, work pretty good.

I used to do the bins... then I fished with Z522Ranger and really liked how he did it. This is how I have my stuff organized now and I really like it.

I would just use gallon or 2 gallon ziplocks. seperated by type. Craws, senkos, lizards, flukes, etc...Worked well with my boat, didn't have room for 58 boxes of all my plastics. lol

Northern Tool canvas tool bags. They are about 4"x6"x12" with canvas handles. I carry couple of bags with my main colors then one bag of misc. Fairly cheap $5 each, easy to handle/load/unload,small enough to sort through, big enough to hold what I need. Use a Sharpie to write what the bag has on the bag.
