Had to go to lake and do a bit of boat maintenance, been awhile since my son has had a chance to fish, on water at 11 and back at dock at 12:30, got 2 limits of Sandies, most from 3 to 5 foot of water stacked on windward side of a shallow hump up north. Due to the high winds after morning storms we could not hold trolling motor into wind, so improvised and caught most of the fish by holding the hell/pet rig over side of boat and wave action was all we needed to get a ridiculous bite on Sandies, with big motor being on in this shallow water you would think it would spook them, NOT! They hammered it many times right next to the boat.
anyway back at dock my son caught 12 Kitties while I filleted the Sandies, 2 went over 3 lbs.
Will be back in a few days with paying customers.

I believe fishing really is one of the best bonding activities between father and son and enjoying a morning on the lake is something to enjoy. Today you were building memories that will last a life time.
