Ok, I know the answer I guess, razor knife. But, it frays when I use my line cutting scissors on the boat....other suggestions?

Get some scissors and pull tention on the line while you cut it. Wet it before feeding through the hook or weight.
I been using the cheepo Gerbers forever without issue.

Get a set of the aluminum fishing pliers with the carbide cutter on the side. That's what I use and they work perfectly.

Hmmmmmm...ok. Thank all of you for the reply's. Some tools I had never seen and some I hadn't thought of. Am a smoker but, hadn't thought of using flame. thanks to all...appreciate all the help and advice from a bunch of good folks..!!!
