Had a guide trip with Shane and his buddy Robby and their daughters Brooke and Bailey. The girls were real troopers and caught a lot of fish.All fish caught at 14 on a slope. All fish caught on charteuse and white ole ugly slabs and ole ugly flies. Caught 174 and they kept a 4 man limit.Saw Trash guy and his dad fmclee and they were wacking them pretty good. Johnny

Forgot to mention one of the girls got a 20 lbs plus carp to the top of the water. Won't say how she lost it but it was Dad's fault.

Forgot to mention saw 1st fish of the year surface. Did not stay up long but it is getting close. I am not a big fan of surfacing sand bass but I know a lot ot people are.

I love schooling fish, boat shows and birds. Generally that is a good clue for me to go the other direction. Lol

The only schooling I saw Saturday was down by the dam. But I don't like those kind of boat shows. We Left em ...........

Yep when I was fishing the dam (Friday), I had a few skiers going up and down the dam. It was a very calm day and just dont quite understand why they couldnt go someplace else. (We were there first when no one was around) I thought they just needed an audience, so I wooed, awed, clapped and cheered them on. After they skied for a while they decided to go for a swim about 50ft from us. Thats ok, we were still catching fish and I kind of liked the ZZ Top music. The only thing that would make it better would be, if those dudes had a couple of chicks with them. At least one! Makes you go HMMMMMMM! LOL! I just sang and the VOO DOO stick was keeping up with the beat, I think the fish liked it to. LOL! Have a good day.

Thank You Very Much, for the fishing trip of a lifetime. I know the girls will remember it forever. I still remeber my first trip really catching some fish. Memories like that stick with you forever. We all had a wonderful fish fry at my dad's, Fathers Day. The girls never stopped talking about the fishing trip. On the way home they asked if Sandbass Johnny would be at the lake the next time they go. Thanks again, for the wonderful time.
