 A new trail that's unheard of from the BLT/BnB guys?

I'm hearing some talk about a trail starting in December with a format never tried. Supposed to be high entry fees with limited entries. $30k to win with pretty deep payouts. I heard $1k fees.
I personally think there is a demand for this type of format. We shall see.

Heard the same thing at the Skeeter Owner's tourney. High entry/payback Team Trail. Could be interesting, I know some of these guys that keep taking everyone's money around here in team trails probably would like some higher paybacks!

Well the rumors are true!! We are finalizing the schedule, rules, lakes, dates, website and payout formula. After several meetings with interested anglers and sponsors, we have selected the first lake and dates to hold the first of 4 Open tournaments at a $1,000 team entry fee ($500 per team member). The tournaments will be a two day team format with flighted starts, two official practice days on Thursday and Friday, off limits the weekend prior to the tournament dates.
More information will be coming, as soon as, we finalize all the details. The first tournament date and lake has been selected and confirmed. We are booking ramps and confirming dates for the remaining 3 tournaments in 2014.
Lake Sam Rayburn on December 7th and 8th , 2013 at Umphrey Pavilion will be the first tournament.
The remaining schedule will be finalized soon and posted on our new website. There will be a link off the BLT and BNB websites to reach the new website.
We have not decided on a name for the new trail and if you want to offer suggestions, please do so.
If you want to compete with some of the best anglers in Texas, you are welcome to enter, and we will see you at the first tournament.
Note: For those of you that fish with us in our Bass N Bucks trail, we have moved the first Rayburn tournament in our 2014 schedule to the following weekend on December 14th. The Rayburn spring Division always starts in December.
