you should make every team sign up for entire series and register over 2 weeks out so no jack potters.

Trail has not even had first event and already requesting special rules and conditions. Who cares if a team jackpots? Their money spends the same as yours if you beat them. Hopefully its not so watered down with a ton of picky little special rules to please the few that try to find a way to regulate themselves a check instead of focusing on the fishing. Not directing it at you in particular Rob just speaking openly as your comment made me think a bit about the subject.

btw, I would not spend 10 bucks to fish against Barrett right now on Ray Bob.... just sayin. Damn sure wouldn't spend a grand. Dudes putting the smack down on folks up there the last 5 tourneys or so.

Not that I'm a tourney fisherman but I kinda like Rob's idea. The Elite series boys fish every tourney in a series. Not just their fav lake or home lake. If a guy is paying a thousand bucks per tournament he'd prolly like to know its a pretty even playing field and that not one person has a big advantage. But! Theres always gonna be a few good sticks at every lake no matter what. I guess it goes both ways. If you're going out to be the best of the best then fish all of em and see who finishes on top. If you are goin to try and cash the top prize fish your home lake if they go there.

At this level if guys are not committed to the series it will affect the overall success of the entire trail. I would be interested in teaming up and fishing the series but only if it requires a full event committment.

If they can schedule around the EverStarts, BASS Opens, Tour and Elites it will be loaded with hammers. But I am not sure that is logistically possible.

I agree with Rob and I base this on my experience of what I have seen happen to the FLW EverStarts.
