 Garmin 340C Question

Can someone send me the basic settings for the Garmin 340C. I purchased it from a friend and with no manual. Is the factory setting mode ok? I can't make it read anything like the pic on the box. I just get a thin red line for the bottom with no structure showing. I was at OH Ivie fishing trees at 25ft. but nothing showing. Depth and temp work fine. The graph works great. I fished with him the day he took it off. He has deployed are I would ask him. Thanks, Randy
