My friend asked me to post this and hopefully can get some input or somebody who knows how to fix motors.

The motor slips in full throttle and BPS change both fuel pumps and other stuff from what he told me.

Hopefully they never have to have their boat serviced. We are in a nice chunk of money and have yet to have my boat engine fixed. First time i took it into the garland shop for service and spent more than a grand to fix the problem only to take it on the lake to experience the same problem. Took it in a second time for the same problem, spent more money, took it out on the lake first opportunity and we still experienced the same problem. Took it back a third time and now I was told the problem was now something else. I allowed tracker / bass pro a third time to fix it and spent another nice chunk of money. Picked it up last week and was told the problem was fixed. We took the boat out today to begin celebrating my Father's Day weekend with my family only to find we still had the same problem. I feel like we just got bamboozled and am very frustrated and upset. We bought the boat brand new from bass pro. So much time and effort spent all for not. Very disappointed. - with Robert Gonzalez and SteveDj KaosCavazos

Call Tommy Yetts at Rockwall marine. He has an excellent service department and John his shop foreman is top notch. If your motor is still under warranty any service dept can work on it and warranty it thru the manufacturer. Rockwall marine # 972-771-4442. Super people.

so. when you hit the gas, the rpms go up and the boat aint moving??
sounds like a simple prop problem.

what prop do you have on it? what motor?

give me a call and i'll give ya a suggestion or two and see if it helps.

Is the boat unstrapped from the trailer?

There's lots of things that could cause your buds issues, like Steve said it *looks* like a spun prop hub, but you can't really tell from that video.

We make airplane pilots finish weeks of training, but bass pro will hand the keys over to anyone and tell them good luck, enjoy your sled and please never come back. Find someone to meet you at the lake, you'll find the real issue in five minutes.

Last time I was at BPS Garland I remember seeing a big lake right out of their back porch. If it was me the second trip there I would have grabbed the service manager and suggested let's go for a ride. Or when I picked it up. Nothing wrong with Rockwall Marine either Tommy is a great guy and has the best people working their but it sounds like you've got too much money invested in the repairs at BPS. I'm just saying hold them to their word that it is fixed.

Had a late model Merc 4 stroke doing that. They had replaced the prop and left the blow out ring off.

What kind of motor? Looks like in the video, that the RPM'S are going up and then the motor just loses power? Or did you let off the throttle. It does sound like fuel delivery issue. Carbureted or injected?

Lake is called Ray Hubbard and they have a private ramp. If BPS is any thing like Cabela's the problem is they cannot hire and or keep a decent mechanic. I have used the same mechanic for 30 years and he thought about going to Cablelas when it first opened. They made an offer and he decided he did not want the headaches.

Upload it to their facebook page with your story too! I did that when Home Depot screwed me over on a grill I bought online and it got their attention when I posted pics of how the box was so damaged by a forklift that they had to double box it to hide the damage and sent me a bent up $400 grill on purpose! They ended up refunding me $300 after it was all said and done and I bent it back into shape and repainted it where the paint was all cracked from the forklift damage.

Or you could drive all the way to Austin so Gary can look at it... hammer If you go anywhere else go to Rockwall Marine They are close to you and have a good reputation too!
