LL as in Lake Lavon?

Yep, from what i've always seen Lake Lavon is always LL and Lewisville is always Lewisville. Thats just what I have seen.

With the kayak, I haven't had any problems, mainly go out during the week or places they don't go on weekends. But when I had my bass boat and fished tournaments..... Man oh man, I've wrapped rattle traps around ski boat towers and had the driver do a "what tha?" I won't say how bad it got every year on Lewisville when we fished the Collegiate Bass Championship the week before Memorial Weekend, how you guys even consider fishing there during the warmer months is beyond me.

Yep! I'm on a Malibu so honestly i'm not afraid of their wakes or the turbulence they can create doing circles. I just stopped fishing and grabbed my paddle and turned into the wakes and waited till they were done making fools of themselves. I'm not afraid of the ocean breaks, wakes or fast rivers...I'll fish it all but I am afraid of the drunken fools on boats trying to show off to their buddies.

I'll fish Lew in the summer midday mainly in no wake and stump fields in the nooks and crannies of the lake. Most days no issues.

The thing that drives me nuts most is seeing boaters try to pull their kids on tow craft zig zagging as close and fast as possible to the stumps. Don't they realize that if the kids fell off and the wrong time they could get impaled and be killed?

I've had a few boaters wake me on purpose but not circling like that! Crazy but I can believe it.

Wait until someone drowns. Maybe they'll make it a felony. I'm getting all worked up just thinking about it. It's never happened to me. Id surely get pic/video, and call on em. I would really want to call them out, and stomp someone, but I'd probably loose that battle.

like the man says...if you're swimming in the ocean and get bitten by a shark, its not a shark attack. You're in THEIR neighborhood. If you're at home in your shower, turn around and a shark is in there with you...THAT'S a shark attack

Just get out the Camera/Video - stay Calm-Cool & Collected !
If you have the GW number, you can email or text the pic/video on the spot! If we bring ourselves down to their level, well, just saying, Lets soar with the Eagles & not the Turkeys !

Take someone fishing and make them smile smile

I don't think that's it. A lot of guys really just don't know. Let them pull up and share the water. Most guys in boats are good people no different from anyone here.

This happened to my brother and me on the coast Memorial Day weekend. Some jacka$$ pulled up to the cut we were fishing and immediately started cracking jokes asking if we were duck hunting. Then he and his buddy start fishing the cut as if we weren't there, casting right where we were casting. I pulled out the camera and got plenty of pictures (which didn't stop them) and he did his best to try and swamp us when they left. Just goes to show that there are some a-hole fisherman out there as well.
