So i have read that the deep spots are good right now on Texoma. Any one mind giving me an idea of where the water is 70-80 feet deep . This saturday is my first trip to texoma and am very excited to striper fish, any tips would be great. We plan on putting in at little mineral marina and getting live bait form banks around 5:30 am and going form there... jut need to have a general idea where the lake gets 80 feet. thx for any help in advnace!

Pull out of LM and head to Oklahoma. Watch your depth finder. A good topo map will show you also.

thx for all the help guys! our boat had a blast! My first tome to fish the lake up there and it is very different from metroplex lakes, even the shad hunt was interesting, it felt like moms shopping on black friday lol. Any way great day! the early morning bite was just like yall said seemed like an east wind may have shut it down around 9:30 or so or maybe its just over then... played around on some points after that and got into some sandies and small mouth.. Great day and We will be back! thx again for the help JD and others! might try the evening bite next time.
