The striper fishing on Palestine is red hot. Caught these on a short 4 hour trip last night. Give me a call if your interested in getting in on this.

Report update 6/13/2013 today on Palestine.... Got there at 5:30 pm started catching fish with 4 1/2 inch Shadalicious White w/chartruse with 1/2 oz white jig head caught a 6.8 7.2 and a 7.8 in 30 minutes 30 ft water 24 1/2 inches in length . Had a 15 LB er break the line after that they just quit. Thanks Jason you were right on ! If you need a good guide call Jason Burton.

Man I hate it when you lose a lake record.

On the Big One that broke my line ... It was my bad we were catching them over the old 155 had a couple hang up and didn`t cut and re-tie. It stripped line 15lb seagar invis ran deep , finally got her to come to the top after 5 min when she saw the dip net she went south broke my line. I don`t know how big she was but the biggest one was 7.8 and she was alot bigger.

Those are the breaks. I always try to re tie after catching a fish or hanging up. There are a lot of big girls in there that can break your heart quick.

Once upon a time my Wife and I went to Lake Palestine for our Honeymoon, I didn't want to drag my boat since it was a New (to me) lake to fish. We looked and looked and nothing seemed to appeal to us until we saw Jason Burton's pickup in the parking lot & looked up his website. Glad we did!

We had a BLAST!

That was the most fun we've had in years! Paid for a 5hr trip, was "supervising" Jason clean fish in 3.5hrs, My arms & hands weren't cooperating to clean fish. So I was the designated beer holder while he cleaned the fish.

I normally fish down in Belton Lake where we normally have to break out the fish stretcher to make the Whites 10", I was amazed at the size of the White bass we caught! I kept checking them to make sure they weren't small hybrids, nope they were just big FAT White Bass!
