I was in your neck of the woods yesterday afternoon and them Black Crappie didn't disappoint. Still working on the big fish pattern and I am still using your go to big fish color, with great success. Some fish would hit it so hard, it would startle me. Making me jump almost a foot off of the deck, when setting the hook. I am glad no one was around watching me because, I was doing a little screaming along with all that jumping around. I had a blast. I fished timber, stumps and lay downs in 18 to 25 FOW and ended up with nice limit. The biggest was 16" and just under 2 pounds. The rest were clones in the 14 1/2" to 15 1/2" range. Not bad for a few hours on the water!

Good grief those are some nice ones! Thanks but, those are just nice fish. Heck I will have to post some pictures of the big ones that I have been catching or should I say, pictures of the ones that also ate the.......... You will have to ask Lane for his go to color. I don't know if he has let the cat out of the bag yet.
