My Pastor is celebrating his 10 year anniversary at our church. We want to give him a fishing trip to remember as a gift. Does anyone have a good idea for a one week trip in the txlarkoma area that would include cabin type accomodations and 2 or three trips that week with a guide? He's an experienced angler and the trip will probably be for two. This will be presented in August, so I'm thinking an October trip. Freshwater, saltwater, I'm open to suggestions. Any ideas will be appreciated.

or if you want to go out of state, I'd recommend a trip to Moutain Harbor Resort on Lake Ouachita near Hot Springs, AR.

Check us out at www.gonefishin.biz . We offer a great "Package Special" of a Trip for Two and a Cabin for $299 on Richland Chambers. We fish everyday except Sunday and can do the Whites/Hybrids and the Crappie in the Fall. Late September and October are very good for all three!

Thanks!

This is what I enjoy doing the most. He will be taken care of.
I only charge TFF members the expense of the trip.

Thanks for the input guys. Definitely some great choices. As close as they are, Tawakoni and Richland Chambers are hard to beat.
If anyone else has something, let me know.

Thanks

Nothing wrong with what has been mentioned here. But just another suggestion of something you may want to consider:

If you are looking for a week long trip, and a "trip to remember", I would suggest that guy who does those trips on the rivers out west.

Shane Davis?

You get in a kayak and float & fish, camp out on the banks, get up in the morning and do it again. Fishing, camping, cooking over an open fire, swimming, site seeing and more all in one.

I don't know how old the guy who your purchasing this for is. But I assume that the trip can move as slow or as fast as the client wants.

If you want to go offshore I can't recommend Captain Mike Jennings and Cowboy Charters enough.
