I'm in Michigan speaking at a camp and I have had some time to fish and the bite is amazing. I caught over 100 in a couple of hours the other day. It is almost boring the are biting so fast. The fly hits the water and it is taken. I have taken to using bigger flies and only targeting big fish. It is hard to keep the smaller ones from biting.

Fun times. I also caught a nice 2lb bass in the middle of it all.

welcome "Bruiseman" to the Texas Fishing Forum. Glad to have you on board. cheers Sounds like you got into a bunch of hungry Gills. Usually as rule of thumb the Bigger fish seem to stay away from the smaller ones. You many want to hit other spots and try to locate em. I usually have the best luck catching the bigger fish by drop offs, next to structure, or hugging tree lines. thumb Again nice job on the fly! hooked

Side Note; Great getting a report from Michigan. rockon
