Hey guys! Heading down to surf side this weekend. Going to be fishing the surf hard was wondering what all has been biting right now? Wanting to catch some shark! Any info would be appreciated!

two four foot-ish shark was caught on free line mullet at surfside jetty on sunday.

Weed has been spotty. If you run into weed get in the truck and head a few miles down and just keep checking until you find a spot without it. Everything has showed up in the surf. People were catching a lot of pompano last week, I caught a sheepshead, lots of trout and redfish and lots of sharks. Go get em and POST A REPORT!!! Too many guys ask for help and never let us know how they did!

Headed down there Monday afternoon. Gonna be fishing the surf early a.m. and some during the day. I'll be sure to share my luck! Anything in particular working well right now? Planning on using topwaters and artificials- not sure about trying live shrimp....

Jetty was off yesterday. Caught only pompano and whiting to keep. No keeper trout or sheeps. Water was sandy colored w/ 3-5 footers.

I usually steer clear of the jettys seem to only catch rocks while losing 100 dollars worth of tackle lol...I definitely haven't mastered the art of jetty fishing yet!

Thought I'd let y'all know how the first day went....slow all day until late afternoon in the surf! Brother hooked up with a 5 1/2 ft black tip and I pulled in a monstrous red! Didn't have a scale but I would guess in the 30 pound area! Wish I knew how to post pics on here through my phone...those two fish made up for the sun burns lol...

I was at the surfside today, hit the surf for a couple hours, not much luck.. small black tip as well, though much smaller than that. Good stuff, have fun!
