Purchased the Martins Map for lake Fork and was wondering if there is a list somewhere that would tell more about the circled points of interest?

The list calls out the feature and its coordinates....pretty good stuff.

Finest lake map for any lake anywhere. Wish there were maps like it for other lakes.

They are community holes. Just go fish them, they hold fish at certain times of the year.

There is also a CD version that allows you to click on the spot for more information. Has GPS coordinates and a guides opinion of when the spot is good. Useful tool for pretrip research.

I have one for Ray Roberts, and it has been very helpful. I've found a couple of spots on the map with the smallest font I've ever seen. A magnifying glass revealed the text "Awesome Area". It even has pipeline right of ways marked which can be used for running lanes in the heavy timber areas.

I sure enjoyed your reenactment of "The Karate Kid" at the marina a couple of days ago. Man, you can sure swat some mud daubers. HAHAHA

Martins Maps are worthless. Just go follow people around. Easier and Cheaper. Just wait until they leave then its ok!

They call it the "McClendon" pattern. Works great on lakes like Falcon...look for boat wraps and bent poles.
