We are heading down Friday morning to stay for a week. Any fishing tips would be greatly appreciated. WE will have a flat bottom boat for the bay and wade and/or surf fishing.

Been having decent luck in the surf, catching reds and shark. Been using fresh mullet and pogies. Walking out to second sand bar and casting out with the surf rods. Only downfall in the surf is the abundance of gafttop. its hard to keep the mullet out of their mouths. You want even know theyre hooked up until you reel your line in to check your bait. Also, lots of seaweed in the surf right now.Had a buddy limit out on specks in the surf a few days ago using mirror lures.
