The family and i will be going to Galveston 6/22 thoug 6/29 and I would like to do some wade fishing for trout and reds. Anyone that can PM me or give me some info on where to go or what to do would be appreciated. Thank you!

The bridge that enters galviston, go under and cast toward a white PVC pipe sticking out and use big alive shrimp

If the surf is flat get in the water at first light using Spoons, Ratl Traps, soft plastics under a popping cork. If you can find birds working the surf so much the better. I am pretty much a salt water rookie but have used the above to catch Trout in the surf. If the water is muddy and you see a bunch of surfers put your rod away and pitch horseshoes. It is all about the surf. Flat = fish, big waves = quality time with the family.

Sweet! Thanks Guys! Im looking forward to it. From what im seeing i will be fishing the surf for the trout and reds but only if the surf allows me to. I hope by being there a week i will be able to get a few mornings of fishing in but if not oh well i will be with the family and spending a lot of quality time and making memories with them!
